Directions
From CIC (530 S. State) to Lane Hall
Turn Left (North) onto State Street. Go up two blocks, and Lane Hall will be on your Left - on the Southwest corner at the intersection of State and E. Washington Streets.

From NCIC (2101 Bonisteel) to Lane Hall
Take Bonisteel South to Fuller. Turn Right on Fuller and stay on it until Fuller deadends at Huron. Turn Right. Turn Left almost immediately onto Fletcher. Turn Right at the first street, E. Washington. Go down one block to State Street, and Lane Hall is on the Southwest corner at the intersection of State and Washington.

You will fly into Detroit Wayne County (DTW) airport (also known as Detroit Metro.)

Transportation to Cranbrook from the airport:
There is no comprehensive public transportation to or in Bloomfield Hills, so you will need to rent a car or arrange for a shuttle or taxi. Find information at the baggage pickup area. The shuttle or taxi will be fairly expensive. It may be cheaper to rent a car, and is absolutely necessary if you want to see the Cranbrook vicinity or go off campus to eat or shop. If renting a car is not possible, we may be able to find a student to pick you up. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THIS SERVICE. Call Kathy Coulson at 248-645-3300 or e-mail her at kcoulson@cranbrook.edu. Expect to pay a fee.

Driving to the academy from the airport:
Take I-94 WEST to I-275.
Go NORTH on I-275 until it ends at I-696.
Go EAST on I-696 to Telegraph Road (US-24.)
Go NORTH on Telegraph 4-1/2 miles to Lone Pine Road.
Turn right, going EAST, on Lone Pine Road.
Go 1-½ miles to 500 Lone Pine.
The Administration building is at 500 Lone Pine Road.

Driving to Cranbrook's main entrance from other locations:

From Ohio:
Take I-75 NORTH until it splits at I-275.
Take I-275 NORTH until it ends at I-696.
Go EAST on I-696 to Telegraph Road.
Go NORTH on Telegraph 5 miles to Long Lake Road.
Turn right, going EAST, on Long Lake Road – go 3 miles to Woodward Avenue.
Turn RIGHT, going SOUTH, on Woodward, about ¾ mile to the Cranbrook entrance at 39221 Woodward.

From Windsor, Canada:
From the bridge or tunnel, turn right, going EAST, to I-75 north.
Go NORTH on I-75 to the Big Beaver exit ( Troy.) Go WEST on Big Beaver to Woodward Avenue.
Turn right, going NORTH, on Woodward ¾ mile to the Cranbrook entrance at 39221 Woodward.

From Western Michigan:
Take freeway of your choice EAST to I-275. Take I-275 NORTH until it ends at I-696. Go EAST on I-696 to Telegraph Road. Go NORTH on Telegraph 5 miles to Long Lake Road. Turn right, going EAST, on Long Lake Road – go 3 miles to Woodward Avenue. Turn RIGHT, going SOUTH, on Woodward, about ¾ mile to the Cranbrook entrance at 39221 Woodward.
